The Advanced Integrative Energy Healing program bridges ancient Vedic science with modern science through the study of Integral Yoga and the work of  Tiller, Oshmann, Lipton, and Benor. Both programs include supervised clinics held in Vancouver Coastal Health facilities and an internship.

Shelagh participated in a 3 month pilot research study in 2014 providing forensic nurses working with the Fraser Health Authority in B.C. with a range of health promoting self care strategies and AIEH treatments designed to optimize well being.  Shelagh furthered her skills as a clinic supervisor and faculty member for both IEH and AIEH programs at Langara College.

Advanced Integrative Energy Healing (AIEH) is a full-spectrum therapeutic modality aimed at supporting whole person well-being. This modality integrates consciousness based Eastern Integral Yoga Psychology, somatic physiology, awareness dialogue, biofield theories and modern Western science.   AIEH biofield based treatments focus on physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and relational aspects of healing. The goal is to empower individuals to re-pattern their biofield, to build resilience, and to develop well resourced self care and coping strategies.  (2012, Dr. Ruth Lamb, RN, PhD. Coordinator for Continuing Studies, Integrative Energy Healing Program, Langara College, Vancouver, B.C.)

Shelagh has been empirically tested and shown to produce a DC and AC current and to produce a desired and measurable physiological change in client healings.  Measuring devices used include: Triaxial ELF magnetic field meter, HF RF field meter, data logging multi meter, and GDV.
